Hello there. I guess I should say that I’m Irish, that I studied mathematics for 8 years, first at Trinity College Dublin and then at Balliol College Oxford where I wrote my doctoral thesis on fascinating things called magnetic monopoles.

After I finished college I spent one year working as a quant for a currency hedge fund called Lee Overlay Partners before moving to Susquehanna International Group where I stayed for about five years till early 2013 when I decided I deserved to take a well earned career break which I am currently enjoying hugely!

I enjoy messing around with mathematics, electronics, computers and other very nerdy things.
